Decime Monaco 1838 – special coinage

Description

Fantasy coinage from the second half of the 19th century minted in Brussels. This money reproducts E. Rogat’s draft of Monaco’s decime: Under Prince Honoré V (1819 – 1841) two coiners, V.M. Borrel and E. Rogat, proposed their drafts. The new decime is minted after the creation of V.M. Borrel, and the Rogat’s one only about half a century later by the Belgian mint Menning Frères.
